There will be food provided and dress code is whatever you’re comfortable in.
Children are welcome but will be tied to a dog or two so their parents can enjoy the session. If they don’t like dogs they will be thrown into the river Boyne.

Trim is 30 miles from Dublin Airport, a journey which takes 40 minutes by car. Taxis are available from the airport or you may wish to hire a car with friends and do some exploring whilst you are over.

Saturday is the main event.
Some people are travelling and visiting Dublin on the Thursday / Friday and making a weekend of it.
Totally up to you.
If you want to stay centrally, then the Trim Castle hotel is a good option.
The Knightsbrook is also a good choice but it is a little out of town and taxis would be required.
If you want something more reasonable, there's the Castle Arch and lots of lovley B&B's.
Trim is a traditional Irish town with a castle and scenic river walk along the Boyne. It has a few shops and lots of pubs.
Those with access to car may wish to explore further afield such as New Grange or the Hill of Tara.
